What is TNUSRB SI Exam? 

Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) conducts the exam for sub-inspector of police posts (Taluk, Armed Reserve, and Tamil Nadu Special Police). TNUSRB invites applications from fresh candidates and departmental candidates. As per the latest notification by TNUSRB, the exam will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 for open quota candidates and Monday, January 13, 2020 for departmental candidates. TNUSRB SI Eligibility Criteria

Board has specified eligibility criteria for TNUSRB SI applicants. Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered eligible for sub-inspector posts:

Educational qualificationA Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC / Government recognized University in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2 pattern in case of Diploma courses.Candidates must have Tamil as a subject in X/XII/Degree. In case of not studying Tamil as a subject during X/XII/Degree, the person must pass Tamil Part-II Test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission within 2 years of joining the service.NOTE: Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree through Open Universities devoid of 10+2+3 pattern will not be eligible.

TNUSRB SI 2019 Selection Process

TNUSRB SI selection process involves multiple stages. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in all the stages.
