Lopamudra is also known as Kausftitaki and Varaprada, there is one hymn in the Rigveda is attributed to her Lopamudra was created by sage Agastya with the most graceful parts of animals such as eyes of the deer etc She spread the fame of the Lalita saftasranama (the thousand names of
the Divine Mother) The meaning of word Lopamudra is “loss of beauty” which refers to the loss caused to the animals in her creation Agastya created her, secretaly introduced her to the palace of Vidarbha King, and later when she grew up asked the king to return her as his wife
