MoD Rajnath Singh launched WBPMP, 1st Project Management Governance by Military Engineer Services

Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Ministry of Defence (MoD), launched Web Based Project Monitoring Portal (WBPMP) for Military Engineer Services (MES) from New Delhi. It is the first project management Governance to be implemented by the MES.

• It has been developed by Gandhinagar (Gujarat) based Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-G).
• This development is on the lines of Digital India Mission.

Key Points:

• WBPMP will enable real time monitoring of projects from its inception to completion.
• It will enable all stakeholders including from Armed Forces to access the project information.
• This is one among many initiatives of MES for the scientific management of this organization.
